Athletic director

Imagine your school is like a big team. The people who run the team and make sure everyone is playing fairly and safely are called the coaches. But there is one person who is in charge of all the coaches and the players, and that person is called the Athletic Director.

The Athletic Director makes sure all the sports teams have enough balls, uniforms, and equipment they need to play with. They also create schedules for when and where the games will be played. They may also help choose the coaches for each team and make sure they are good at their job.

The Athletic Director also makes sure everyone is following the rules of the game and that nobody cheats. They will also make sure everyone is playing safely and is not getting hurt.

Sometimes, the Athletic Director also helps to fundraise money to support the sports teams, for example by organizing bake sales, car washes or selling merchandise.
