Atlanta Black Crackers

Atlanta Black Crackers are a professional baseball team based in Atlanta, Georgia. They were founded in 1919 and are one of the oldest African American professional baseball teams in the United States. The team played in the Negro leagues from 1919 through 1950, and then moved to the independent leagues in 1952. The Black Crackers were a great team, winning several championships and making appearances in the World Series. The team was also very involved in the community, putting on free baseball clinics, helping out with school supplies, and raising money for charities. Today, the Atlanta Black Crackers are remembered fondly by many fans around the country as one of the great Negro League baseball teams of all time.
