Magnesium production is when we make magnesium from things like rocks. To do this, we have to process rocks with special machines and chemicals that are needed. First, the rocks are put in a big machine that crushes them up into small pieces. Then, they go into another machine where they are heated up and the magnesium separates from the rocks. The hot magnesium is cooled and then put into a special solution. This solution helps to pull out the other minerals, like calcium and silicon, so that only pure magnesium is left behind. Finally, the magnesium is separated and ready to use.
