Audio engineer

An audio engineer is someone who works with sound. They help create, record, and mix sounds for movies, TV shows, concerts, and video games. They use special equipment (like microphones, speakers, and computers) to listen to and adjust the volume and quality of the sound. An audio engineer might also add special effects to a sound – like making a voice sound different, including background sound effects, or creating a 'mixed' version of a song. To be an audio engineer, you usually need to have gone to school to learn about sound technology.
