ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Augmentation of honour

Well kiddo, sometimes people do really great things like help others in need or make a big contribution to their community or country. When they do these great things, they might be given something called an honour, like a medal or a title.

But sometimes, their great achievements aren't fully recognised by the people giving out the honours. That's why they might get something called an "augmentation of honour". This means that they get an extra bit of recognition to add to their already existing honour.

It's like getting a special sticker on your sticker chart for doing something extra good. You still have all your other stickers, but now you have a special one to show everyone that you did something even more amazing.

So basically, people who have already done amazing things get an extra boost of recognition for doing something even more amazing. And it's called an augmentation of honour.
