Authorized marches of the Canadian Forces

Ok kiddo, so you know how you have to ask your mom or dad before you can go outside and play? Well, the Canadian Forces have to ask someone before they can march too.

The bosses in charge of the Canadian Forces have to give permission, or "authorize," a march before it can happen. This means they have to decide if it's a good idea for the soldiers to march in a certain area on a certain day.

There are different types of authorized marches the Canadian Forces can do. Some are just for fun and to show off the soldiers' skills, like parades or displays. Others are more serious and are used to honor important people or events, like Remembrance Day or the changing of the guard ceremony.

No matter what type of march it is, the Canadian Forces have to make sure they are ready and prepared. They have to practice and be in good shape so they can march for long periods of time without getting tired.

So, just like how you have to ask your parents before you go outside to play, the Canadian Forces have to ask their bosses before they can march. And it's important they are prepared and ready for the march beforehand.
