Automorphism

An automorphism is like a shape transformer. It is a special kind of transformation that changes the shape but not the size of something. It is used in mathematics to rearrange shapes without changing how big or small they are. For example, if you had a square, an automorphism could move the four corners around and make a diamond shape, but the size would stay the same.
