Aventurescence

Imagine looking at a shiny rock and seeing tiny sparkles of different colors on it. That is called aventurescence. It happens when there are small minerals or crystals inside the rock that reflect light in different ways, making it look like it is sparkly or glittery. It's kind of like when you see glitter in a jar and it looks like it's sparkling in the sun. Aventurescence is just like that, but in rocks! It's a really cool way for rocks to show off their beauty.
