Axis naval activity in New Zealand waters

So, let's pretend you're on a big adventure in the ocean and you're in New Zealand's special area of the ocean called "waters". This water is very important to the people who live in New Zealand because it has lots of fish and other things that they need to live.

But there were some people who were not from New Zealand who came to this area a long time ago. They were called the Axis powers and they were not very nice. If the Axis boats were found, the Allied boats would try to stop them from going any farther. The Allied boats had special weapons to protect themselves and they knew how to work together to stop the Axis boats.

With the help of their Allied friends, New Zealand was able to keep their water safe from the Axis powers. The people who lived there could keep on fishing and living their lives without worrying about the bad people from far away.
