Bach: Unaccompanied Cello Suites Performed on Double Bass

Bach was a very famous musician a very long time ago who wrote beautiful music for instruments like the cello, which is like a big guitar that you hold between your legs and play with a bow. The cello is usually played by itself, without any other instruments.

But some musicians like to play Bach's cello music on a different instrument called the double bass, which is like a really, really big cello that you stand up and play with a bow or your fingers.

Playing Bach's cello music on double bass can be really challenging because the notes are different and the two instruments sound different, but it can also be really beautiful if a skilled musician plays it just right. It's sort of like playing a game where you need to use your brain and your hands to make something magical happen, like making a big puzzle or putting on a show.
