Bakkwa

Okay kiddo, imagine that you are at a carnival and you smell something delicious cooking on a grill. That smell is probably coming from something like hotdogs or hamburgers, right? But what if I told you that there's something even more special cooking called bakkwa!

Bakkwa is a kind of meat snack that comes from Asia. It's a bit like jerky or bacon, but it's made in a different way. First, the meat (usually pork) is sliced very thin, almost like paper. Then, it's marinated in a sweet sauce that has spices like soy sauce, sugar, and garlic. After that, the meat is grilled slowly until it's nice and tender.

The result is a delicious, sweet and savory snack that is perfect for munching on any time of day. Some people even use bakkwa as a ingredient in other dishes, like in sandwiches or fried rice.

Does that all make sense, kiddo? Basically, bakkwa is a really yummy meat snack that's made by thinly slicing and marinating meat, then grilling it until it's juicy and flavorful. Yum!
