ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Dendeng

Dendeng is a food that starts with a big piece of meat, like beef or pork. The meat is cut into very thin slices, like paper. Then, it is dried with the help of the sun or a machine that blows hot air. This drying process takes away all the moisture, leaving the meat very crisp and crunchy. Once the meat is dried, it can be cooked in many different ways. Some people fry it, while others grill it. The result is a yummy snack that can be eaten plain, with rice, or even as a topping for noodles. It's a tasty way to eat meat, just like a snack!
