Fusion is a way of making energy like the kind of energy that powers the sun and stars. It is a really cool process where scientists take tiny atoms and smash them together really hard. This makes a reaction that releases a lot of energy in the form of heat and light. It is a clean way of making energy that doesn't produce polluting gases into the air. We are still trying to figure out how to make fusion work here on Earth but if we can, it may give us a lot of clean energy for the future!
