ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Balanced circuit

A balanced circuit is like a see-saw, where two people sit on either end and they both weigh the same.

In a balanced circuit, there are two sides called branches that have the same amount of electricity flowing through them. It's like having the same amount of water flowing through two pipes at the same time.

Sometimes, we use something called a resistor to balance the circuit. A resistor is like a little traffic controller that slows down the flow of electricity. So, if one branch has more electricity flowing through it, the resistor slows it down to make it the same as the other branch. It's like adding a speed bump to one pipe to make the water flow at the same speed as the other pipe.

By having a balanced circuit, we make sure that the electricity is distributed evenly and everything works properly. Just like how a see-saw works best when both people are the same weight!
