Band-e Kaisar

Band-e Kaisar is a very old bridge made by people a long, long time ago. It is located in Iran, in a city called Shushtar. The bridge was built a very long time ago, about 1,500 years ago, which is older than your grandma or grandpa! The bridge was made to help carry water from the river to the city.

The people who made it were very clever and hardworking. They didn’t have machines to build like we do today, so they had to use their hands and come up with clever ways to get the bridge built.

The bridge is very special and has big arches that are so big they could fit a whole room inside each one! The bridge is still standing strong, even after so many years. It is a special place in Iran and people go to see it because it is a part of their history and culture.
