ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Bank (geography)

Okay little buddy, a bank is a place where people keep their money. It's like a piggy bank but much bigger and it's not just for kids. People go to the bank to deposit or withdraw their money, and the bank keeps the money safe for them.

Banks are located in different places, sometimes in a big building in the middle of town, sometimes in a small town where there's not much else around. Banks have lots of employees who work there to help people with their money.

Sometimes banks can also lend money to people who need it, like if they want to buy a house or start a business. But the bank will charge them extra money for borrowing the money, so it's important to pay it back on time.

Overall, banks help people take care of their money and keep it safe.
