Banked turn

Banked turns are turns that are banked, or slanted, so that your car or other vehicle doesn't slide off the road. When you turn a corner, your car usually wants to keep going straight, so the tilted road helps it turn the corner. Banked turns make it easier to turn corners without losing control of your vehicle.
