Bar examination

A bar examination is like a really big test for people who want to become lawyers. Just like how you take tests in school to show what you know, lawyers have to take the bar exam to show that they understand the laws and can use them to help people. The test is usually really hard and it tests a lot of different things that lawyers need to know like laws, legal procedures, and ethics which means doing the right thing. If you pass the bar exam, you get a special kind of permission called a law license that lets you work as a lawyer and help people with their legal problems.
