Barrage (artillery)

A barrage is like a very big, loud cannon shooting lots of mini-cannons all at once in a big area! It's kind of like when you throw a lot of balls at the same time to cover a big area. When soldiers want to attack a big group of enemies, they use a barrage to shoot lots of bombs and shells at them all at once. The loud noise and big explosions can be scary, but it helps the soldiers cover a big area and makes it harder for the enemies to hide or run away. But, we should remember that weapons are very dangerous and should only be used by trained soldiers in a war situation.
