Battle of Dalrigh
Okay kiddo, imagine a long time ago in Scotland there were two big families called the MacGregors and the Colquhouns. They didn't like each other very much because they had been fighting for a long time over who had the right to some land called Glen Falloch.
One day, in the year 1603, both families met at a place called Dalrigh and decided to have a big fight to settle the argument once and for all. They both brought lots of men with swords and shields and started battling!
The MacGregors had an advantage because they had a secret weapon - guns! But the Colquhouns were very brave and didn't give up easily. They fought hard and eventually, they managed to chase the MacGregors away.
Sadly, many people were hurt and some even died in the battle. It was a very sad day for both families and for Scotland. The battle didn't really solve anything and the feud continued for many years after.
