Battles of the Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878)

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of the Russo-Turkish War? It happened a long time ago, in the year 1877. Basically, it was a fight between two big countries: Russia and Turkey.

You know how sometimes you and your friends might argue about something, like who gets to use the swing first? Well, that's kind of what was happening between Russia and Turkey. They were arguing over who should control different parts of a country called Bulgaria.

This argument turned into a big fight and there were many battles between the two countries. The battles happened in different places like Bulgaria and Romania.

During these battles, many soldiers from both sides got hurt or even died. It was very sad for their families and friends.

Eventually, Russia won the war because they had more soldiers and better weapons. After the war, there were some new rules made about who could control Bulgaria and other nearby countries.

Overall, the Russo-Turkish War was a very big and important event in history. It helped shape what the world looks like today.
