ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Bay Ridge Branch

The Bay Ridge Branch is a long train track in New York City that runs through a part of Brooklyn called Bay Ridge. It's like a big long snake that carries trains back and forth from different places. The track used to be used for big heavy trains that carried things like food and supplies for stores and people's homes. But now it is mostly abandoned and not in use very much anymore. Some people want to bring the trains back to life again so they can carry things to different places, but other people want something else to be built on the track instead.
