Beaver

Okay kiddo, so have you ever seen a beaver before? They are these cute little furry animals that live near rivers and streams. Now, beavers are very special because they are great builders. They use their super strong teeth to cut down trees and branches and make big dams across the water.

Why do they make these dams, you ask? Well, it's because they want to create a safe and cozy home for their family. The dam creates a little pond behind it where the beavers can swim and play, and it also provides protection from predators. Plus, the pond helps to slow down the waterflow which makes it easier for the beavers to hunt for food.

Speaking of food, beavers love to munch on tree bark, leaves, and twigs. They use their sharp teeth to gnaw away at trees, and they can actually chew through really tough wood! They even store extra branches and twigs underwater for the winter when it's harder to find food.

So, to sum it up, beavers are cool creatures that live near water, build dams to create a safe home, and chew on trees to get food. They're like little engineers of the animal world!
