Beehive oven

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a big oven that looks like a dome made out of bricks? That's called a beehive oven! It's shaped like a beehive because it's the best shape for trapping heat inside to cook things.

When people use a beehive oven, they build a big fire inside and wait for the bricks to get really hot. Then they put their food, like bread or pizza, inside to bake. The heat from the fire stays trapped inside the dome and cooks the food evenly.

Beehive ovens have been around for a really long time, even before we had the fancy electric ovens we use now. They were especially popular in the olden days for baking bread and other yummy treats. Nowadays, you can still see them in some bakeries or even in some historical sites. Isn't that cool?
