Bell tower

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a tall building with a big clock and a bell at the top? That's called a bell tower. It's like a special building that has a really tall tower where a big bell lives. The tower is usually made out of big stones or bricks to make it strong and sturdy.

So why do people have bell towers? Well, a long time ago before we had phones, people needed ways to tell time and communicate with each other from far away. So they would ring the big bell in the tower at certain times of the day to let everyone know what time it was.

But it's not just about telling time, the bell tower also has a symbolic and spiritual meaning. In some religions, the bell is rung to call people to prayer or to signify important religious events.

Even though we have phones and clocks now, bell towers are still important and beautiful landmarks that remind us of the past and are part of our history.
