Belle Époque

Belle Epoque is the name given to a time period in history that happened a long, long time ago- over 100 years ago! It was mostly in Europe and happened from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. During this time, people were really fascinated with art, fashion, and fancy things. It was a really cool time because people had more freedom to be creative and express themselves through their clothes, music, and art.

In France, where the term "Belle Epoque" comes from, people loved to do things like go to fancy parties or go out to eat at fancy restaurants with their friends.
