Bengal Sultanate

So, a long time ago there were some people who lived in an area called Bengal. They called themselves Bengalis. They had their own way of doing things and they had their own leaders who were in charge of them.

But one day, some people came from a place called Delhi. These people were Muslims and they wanted to be in charge of Bengal. They wanted the Bengalis to become Muslims too.

So, they started talking to the Bengalis and trying to convince them to become Muslims. Some Bengalis agreed, but others didn't.

Eventually, the Muslims from Delhi decided to take over Bengal by force. They fought a big battle with the Bengalis and they won. After this, they set up their own government in Bengal.

This government was called the Bengal Sultanate. The leader of the Sultanate was called the Sultan. He was Muslim and he had a lot of power.

Under the Sultanate, many Bengalis became Muslims. They adopted Muslim customs and beliefs. The Sultanate lasted for a long time and it had a big impact on the way of life in Bengal.
