Bethany

Bethany is a name that can be given to a person, just like your name. It is made up of two parts, "Beth" which means "house" and "any" which means "full of grace". So the name Bethany means "house full of grace".

Now, when we talk about Bethany as a place, it is actually a village that was in the Bible. It was a little town where Jesus Christ used to visit his friends, specifically two sisters named Mary and Martha, and their brother Lazarus. They would often invite Jesus into their home, which was in Bethany, to have dinner and talk to Him.

Bethany was near Jerusalem, which is a big city where people go to pray and celebrate. Sometimes Jesus would go from Bethany to Jerusalem to preach to people and perform miracles, like healing the sick and feeding the hungry. It was a special place because Jesus had a lot of good memories there and He loved the people who lived there.

Overall, Bethany is a name that means grace and a village that is associated with Jesus and his friends in the Bible.
