Bethany (biblical village)
Bethany is a very old village that is talked about in the Bible. This village is where Mary, Martha, and their brother Lazarus lived. They were really good friends with Jesus. Bethany was located near Jerusalem, which is a big city in Israel. People used to walk to Bethany from Jerusalem all the time. There was even a special road that connected the two places.
