Bicycle tools

Have you ever heard of bicycle tools? They help you fix your bike when it's broken! Just like how you need different tools to fix different toys, you also need different bicycle tools to fix different parts of your bike.

One important tool is the adjustable wrench. It looks like a big metal mouth with a small handle at the end. This tool helps you tighten or loosen nuts and bolts that hold the different parts of your bike together.

Another tool is the hex key or Allen wrench. It's a small tool that looks like a letter L with a hexagonal (six-sided) head. This tool comes in different sizes and is used to adjust and tighten various parts of the bike including the handlebars and seat post.

A chain tool is also an important tool for fixing a bike. This tool helps you break a chain or shorten it to fit your bike perfectly. The chain tool can also be used to replace a broken link in the chain.

The screwdriver is another important tool for fixing a bike. It helps you adjust screws on your bike, including those on the brake pads or derailleur adjustments.

There is also a tire lever which is a small plastic wedge-shaped tool. This tool helps you remove a flat tire from the rim of the wheel by wedging it in and pulling the tire off.

Finally, a floor pump or a hand pump is important too. It helps you inflate your bike tires to the right pressure so they don't go flat when you're riding.

Using bicycle tools is fun and easy, but always make sure to have adult supervision and follow instructions carefully so you don't hurt yourself.
