Bihar school meal poisoning incident

Okay kiddo, so there was a school in Bihar, India where the government provides free meals to students. But one day, the food that the cooks prepared for lunch was poisoned. This means they put something in the food that shouldn't have been there and could harm the people who ate it.

After the students ate the food, many of them got very sick and some even died. This was a very serious problem and people were very worried.

The government investigated and found out that the oil that was used to cook the food was contaminated with insecticides. Insecticides are chemicals that are used to kill insects, but they can also be very harmful to people if they get into their bodies.

It's not exactly clear how the insecticides ended up in the oil, but the government thinks that maybe the oil was stored in a container that previously held the insecticides.

It was a very sad and scary time for the people in Bihar. The government had to make sure that the schools were safe and the food was prepared properly so that nothing like this would ever happen again.
