Bimetal

Bimetal is a type of metal made with two different kinds of metal that are joined together. It works like a sandwich: one metal is put inside of another and then they are fused together. The two metals used to make bimetal have different properties that work together to make something special. For example, one metal might be a good conductor of electricity but not very strong, while the other might be strong but not a great conductor. By joining them together, you can make something that can conduct electricity and also be strong. Many household items, like toasters, use bimetal to move the heat where it's needed quickly and safely.
