Bindle

Okay kiddo, picture a little bag that a person carries with them when they're traveling. This bag is called a bindle. The bindle is usually made up of a piece of cloth or a handkerchief that's tied up at the corners to hold in all the things someone might need while they're on the move.

You might have seen pictures or movies where a person, who doesn't have a lot of money or a home to stay in, carries this kind of bag with them. Inside the bindle, you might find things like a toothbrush, some food, a change of clothes, or even a tent!

Bindles have been around for a long time and were used by people who were looking for work or traveling long distances. They were a way to carry everything you needed with you, without having to worry about extra bags. But nowadays, most people use suitcases and backpacks instead of bindles.
