Biocultural anthropology is an area of study that looks at how things like culture, tradition, and other social elements affect how humans interact with the natural environment and how our health is affected by that environment. It looks at how physical characteristics of people (like height or body shape) are affected by things we do in our everyday lives, like what we eat and where we live. It also looks at how our physical and social surroundings affect our mental health and the way we think. In other words, biocultural anthropology looks at how humans interact with the world and our health.
