Biological database

Hi! Do you know what a database is? It's kind of like a big library where we can put different kinds of information like books, videos, or pictures.

Now, a biological database is a special kind of database that holds information about living things such as animals, plants, and bacteria. Scientists use these databases to study the genes, proteins, and other important molecules that make up these living things.

For example, if a scientist wants to study a particular animal, say a tiger, they can use a biological database to find information about the tiger's DNA, its physical characteristics, and even its behavior.

These databases can be really helpful because they allow scientists to share information with each other, collaborate on research projects, and discover new things about living things that we might not have known before.

So, in short, a biological database is like a big library of information about living things that scientists use to learn more about them.
