Biomes are like giant neighborhoods for plants and animals. Each biome has different types of plants and animals that live there, and these plants and animals have adapted to the climate. For example, an Arctic biome is very cold and has a lot of snow and ice, so animals that live there are adapted to survive those conditions, like polar bears and Arctic hares. The desert biome is very hot and dry, so animals that live there have adapted to survive in those conditions, like snakes and cacti.
