Bisbee Riot
Once upon a time in a town called Bisbee, there were some people who did not like other people who were different from them. It was a long time ago, when people did not understand that being different was okay.
The people who did not like the different people decided to start a riot. A riot is when people get very angry and start fighting and hurting each other. The riot in Bisbee happened because some people were worried that the different people might want to take away their jobs and their way of life.
Some of the different people were miners who worked in the mines and some were Mexican people who lived in Bisbee. The people who did not like them wanted to hurt them and make them go away.
During the riot, the different people were rounded up and put on trains to be sent away. This was very scary for them because they did not know where they were going or what was going to happen to them.
