Bishops' Bible

Dear little one, the Bishops' Bible is a special book that some people used a very long time ago to learn about God and the stories in the Bible. It was created by important, holy men called bishops who wanted to have a good version of the Bible to share with people. They worked really hard to make sure the words they used were easy to understand, so even children like you could learn about God and Jesus. The Bishops' Bible was a big deal back then because it was one of the first times the Bible was translated into English, which made it easier for more people to read and learn from it. Even though we don't use the Bishops' Bible as much today, it was an important part of history for people who wanted to share the stories of the Bible with others.
