Bit part

A bit part is like when you're playing pretend with your friends and someone has a bigger role, like the princess or the superhero. But you still get to be in the game and act out a small part, like being a background character or saying a few words. In movies or TV shows, there are actors who have big roles and get to say a lot of lines to help tell the story, but there are also actors who have bit parts, which means they have a small part to play and might only say a few words. It's still important though, because it helps make the story more interesting and realistic.
