ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

BitLocker

Okay kiddo, BitLocker is like a special lock you put on your computer to keep all of your important files safe.

It works by using a special code called an encryption key to scramble all of your files so that no one else can read them without the key. It's kind of like a secret code that only you know.

And don't worry about losing the key, because BitLocker keeps a backup copy of it somewhere safe.

So if anyone tried to take your computer or hack into it, they wouldn't be able to read any of your files. It's like having a secret superpower that keeps your stuff safe!
