Black Propaganda against Portugal and Spain

Black propaganda is when bad things are said about a country that aren't true. Portugal and Spain were two countries that were often the target of black propaganda during the Cold War. People from other countries spread lies and made up stories about Portugal and Spain so that people from those countries wouldn't support them and would instead support their own countries. This happened a lot during the Cold War because countries were competing to be the most powerful. Countries wanted to make sure that people would only support them instead of their enemies.
