Black hole information paradox

A black hole is an object in space that is so big and has such a powerful gravitational pull that nothing, not even light, can escape from it. The information paradox is a problem that comes from not being able to escape a black hole. You see, physicists believe that all the information in the universe should never be lost, but black holes seem to break this rule. When something goes into a black hole, it is gone and we never can get it back. This means a lot of important information is lost, and that's a paradox!
