Blackmail

Blackmail is when someone knows a secret about someone else and threatens to tell other people the secret unless they do what the blackmailer want. Imagine if you had a secret that you didn't want anyone else to know, like maybe you accidentally broke your little sister's toy but didn't want her to find out. Then imagine if someone found out about it and threatened to tell your sister unless you did something for them like give them your favorite toy. That would be blackmail, and it's not very nice. It's important to always tell a trusted adult if someone tries to blackmail you or if you see someone trying to blackmail someone else.
