Blackstone's ratio

Blackstone's Ratio is a way to figure out how full or empty a container is. To use the ratio, you need to measure two things: the container's length and the height of the water inside the container. Once you have those two measurements, divide the water's height by the container's length. The resulting number is the Blackstone's Ratio, which tells you how much of the container is full of water.
