Blasphemy law in Iran

In Iran, there is something called "blasphemy law." This law says that if someone says or does something that is seen as disrespectful or insulting towards Islam or its holy figures, they could be punished. This punishment could be very severe, like going to jail or even being put to death.

Now, imagine that you and your friends are playing a game where you pretend to be superheroes. You pretend to be Spiderman, but your friend pretends to be a bad guy who hates Spiderman. Your friend says mean things about Spiderman, but you know it's just a game and it doesn't hurt anyone's feelings.

Unfortunately, in Iran, it's not just a game. If someone says mean things about Islam or its holy figures, it is taken very seriously and can cause a lot of trouble. This is why it's important to be respectful of other people's beliefs and not say mean things about them.

So, if you ever go to Iran, make sure you are respectful of their beliefs and don't say anything mean about Islam or its holy figures, or you might get into trouble with the blasphemy law.
