Blend (textile)

When we make clothes, we use different types of materials like cotton, silk or polyester. But sometimes we can mix these materials together to create a new material which is called a blend.

It’s like when you mix different colors of paint together, you get a new color. The blend can have different properties like being softer, stretchy or strong.

For example, if we mix cotton and polyester together, we get a blend fabric that is both breathable and durable.

Blending different materials can help to enhance the strengths of each material and create something new and special.
