A blind signature is a kind of digital signature that allows someone to sign something without ever actually seeing it. This is done by taking the message or document, hiding or “blinding” it, and sending it to the person who can sign it. That person then signs the blinded document and sends it back. The person who blinded the document then unblinds it to get the signed version, and everyone is happy. It's like sending a signing request to the signature-person, and then when that person sends it back, you can actually see what you sent them!
