ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Block settlement

So, imagine you have a lot of Legos and you want to build a big castle. But instead of just putting pieces together randomly, you decide to work on one section of the castle at a time. First, you build the walls, then you build the towers, and finally, you add the moat.

This is kind of like how block settlement works. It's a way of buying and selling land in a more organized way. Instead of just buying a piece of land randomly, people join together to buy a whole section of land at once. This section of land is called a block.

Once the block has been bought, each person in the group can then decide which piece of land they want to own within the block. This is where the Legos come in. Just like how you chose which piece of the castle to work on, people can choose which piece of land they want to own.

After everyone has their piece of land, they can then start building on it. Maybe someone wants to build a house, and someone else wants to plant a big garden. But no matter what they decide to do with their land, they are all part of the same block settlement.

So, a block settlement is kind of like building a big castle with a group of friends - everyone works together to create something really cool!
