Blood-borne disease

Blood-borne diseases are types of sicknesses that spread through tiny particles that might be present in human blood. These sicknesses are caused by germs or microorganisms that invade the body and make the person sick. They can be transmitted from one person to another person through blood transfusions, sharing needles, or by using unsterilized medical equipment.

Imagine that your body is like a castle and germs are like bad guys. When the bad guys invade your castle, they can make you sick. Similarly, in your body, germs can invade and make you sick. When you get a cut, you might see little red spots which is blood coming out of your body. If the germs are hiding in your blood, they can come out through those red spots and infect other people through their blood.

That means if you have a blood-borne disease, like hepatitis or HIV, you need to be very careful. You should always use clean needles and medical equipment, as well as avoid contact with other people's blood. It's also important to talk to a doctor if you're feeling sick or have any concerns about your health.
