ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Blunder (chess)

Blunder in chess is like when you draw a square, but a part of it is outside of the paper. It means you made a really big mistake in the game and you lost an important piece or you put your pieces in a really bad spot. Just like how coloring outside the lines is not good, making a blunder in chess can cost you the game. So, always be careful and think twice before you move your pieces!
